Thomas HENGELBROCK
After studying violin and working as a professional violinist, Thomas HENGELBROCK co-founded the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra in 1985, for which he was musician and conductor until 1997.
His passion for music has led him to participate in the production and recording of several operas and to receive many prestigious awards, including the Herbert von Karajan Prize.
In 2015, he was appointed Associate Conductor of the "Orchestre de Paris".
Since February 2021, Thomas has also been the Artistic Director of the "Château de Fontainebleau" where he designs a European program of education in the arts and classical concerts.
